This book's Foreword derides other books "that simply list hundreds of exercises but don't tell you how to meld them into a cohesive workout," but insists "this book is different." It's not.The book doesn't provide information on how many times a week any of the exercises/routines should be done. It doesn't provide information on how to integrate the various Body Part Workouts with one another into a comprehensive exercise program. It doesn't suggest whether the Cardio Workouts should be done before, after, or on different days from the weight routines.Did some sections get accidentally edited out?

I was skeptical about buying this - I figured it would be confusing like all other workout books out there, or a waste because all the information was easy to find on the internet. But this book is awesome! I was exhausted of going through all the different websites online, looking for routines and comparing them with other routines I found - what a waste of time! This book has ALL the routines you'll ever need, with different combinations that will keep your body challenged over and over. Highly recommend getting this if you need some new ideas or need a place to start - very good for beginners!

Pretty basic, I wish I would have been able to "rent" this first. Everyting workout wise I can get online for free. I really thought there would be more to it to be honest. Maybe it is because I got it on the kindle app versus a hard copy. I was kind of disappointed though.

I bought this as a gift for a male friend who is deeply into exercise. He says it is very comprehensive and presents the body parts in an organized manner. Also offers plenty of nutritional info. He says he will never need another exercise book.

I just work out in my basement mostly using dumbbells. This book gives lots of ideas for different lifts for different parts of the body using nothing but your own body weight, or using barbells and dumbbells, or using more advanced equipment. I had checked it out and the library, and found it so useful that I had to buy a copy for myself. It really keeps my workouts from growing stale. I think it is a good investment.

I have to say this book is excellent! I was a little skeptical at first, b/c I had previously ordered a book titled something around "100 body weight workouts"-I was quite unfamiliar with what the subject would be about, but it wasn't what I was looking for, but anyway, this book provides you with many alternatives and options to supplement or create your work-out. Hope this helped
