This book was inspired by my daughter Nora when she asked me where she came from. Â She was too young for "the talk" so I wrote this story to tell her the emotional truth of how she was made. Â Enjoy reading to your own special little someone!

Story seemed underdeveloped. I was hoping for a book about grief. I was hoping this book said something about being a part of my heart even if we are far away and can't see each other. This book was far more simple than that - the child has a piece of the parent's heart and then the child started to love other people and will someday give a piece of his heart to his own children. Not at all what I was looking for. Not worth the $ to return, but I don't have a use for it.
I liked the book, it's cute/sad/realistic. My 2 year old daughter likes it. But i was too quick with purchase and didn't realize i was buying a flimsy (really quite lame) paperback book for 12$. Would rather have spent more on the hardback. Or better yet, make it a board book. So sadly it makes me not like the book as much.
Thanks for the fun read --- grandkids and grandparents love reading it together!
Part of My Heart by Mike Sundy is a cute little story explaining (without really explaining in detail) where babies come from. Made for very young children with adorable illustrations that enhance the story. It is short and cute and to the point. Nice.
